GippSport is committed to ensuring that children and young people who participate in its activities have a safe and happy experience. GippSport supports and respects children, young people, staff, volunteers, and participants.
GippSport has rigorous screening processes in place to ensure, to the best of its ability, that all staff are of good character, and understand the importance of the GippSport commitment to the safety of child and young people in its care.
GippSport’s Child Safe Policy aims to protect the safety of children in our care and prevent abuse from occurring, and in the event that allegations are raised in relation to child abuse, to ensure that the allegations are properly addressed. All complaints will be treated seriously and fully investigated and handled with maximum confidentiality and discretion.

Terms and Conditions of Kiddo Gippsland
Acceptance of Terms:
By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
Parents enrolling their child in KIDDO Gippsland programs acknowledge the inherent risks of sport participation and waive any claims against the organisation, within the bounds of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012.
By registering to participate at a KIDDO Gippsland program, you agree to abide to our Code of Conduct. KIDDO Gippsland commits to maintaining due care in providing safe equipment and facilities. This waiver does not extend to any rights the parent or child has under the statutory consumer guarantees for services rendered with due care and skill, or to rights against gross negligence.
Fees and Payments:
Our fee structure is designed for flexibility and convenience:
- Full Term Access: $100 for a complete term of enriching sessions.
- Weekly Engagement: $14 per session for those preferring a week-by-week approach.
- Voucher Acceptance: We honour the Victorian Governments Get Active kids vouchers for a two-term enrolment. GippSport’s unique Activity Provider code is 3348454
Pre-Session Online Payment: Ensure your child’s participation by paying through our secure online system prior to sessions. Please note, cash payments are not accepted at the time of the session.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Kiddo Gippsland is committed to providing flexibility and understanding to our families. In the event that you need to cancel your booking, we offer the following solutions:
- Make-Up Sessions: We first encourage you to schedule a make-up session to substitute the missed opportunity.
- Account Credit: If a make-up session isn’t feasible, we can offer a credit to your account for future use.
- Refund: As a last resort, if neither make-up sessions nor account credit are appropriate, we will provide a full refund.
Please contact us at least 1 hour in advance to arrange a make-up session or discuss refund options. We’re here to help and will work with you to find the best solution.
Health and Safety:
Kiddo Gippsland prioritises the well-being of all participants. Our policy mandates:
- Regular risk assessments to ensure safe environments.
- Clear protocols for injury response and emergency situations.
- Ensure all staff and coaches have up to date first aid training.
- Mandatory program delivery training for our GippSport team, including program safety protocols.
- Compliance with health regulations, including hygiene standards.
- Encouragement of safe play and the teaching of proper techniques.
- Requirement for guardians to remain on-site, ensuring quick response if needed.
This policy is integral to our commitment to provide a safe, fun learning space for every child.
Privacy Policy:
By registering into our program, you agree that personal information including your name, email address and any other details you provide with your booking will be collected and stored by us and used for the process of managing your booking.
We will not sell or pass on your booking details to a third party unless required to do so by law.
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is handled and protected appropriately in accordance with the Privacy Act and the Spam Act.
Photos and Videos:
During KIDDO Gippsland sessions, we may photograph or film activities for promotional purposes, such as on social media.
We will request separate consent beforehand, ensuring your full awareness and agreement. Your child’s participation in these activities is completely voluntary, and we respect your decision and privacy preferences.
Parents must obtain consent before capturing images that include others’ children. If you prefer that your child not be included, please inform us.

- Remain present at sessions and be a supportive figure for all children.
For Children:
- Have fun, participate actively, and always do your best.
- Listen to your coaches, and respect their guidance and rules.
- Use kind words only—no bad language.
- Treat everyone with respect, and play fairly.
- Inform a coach or adult if you’re not feeling well or need help.
This code ensures a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all members of the KIDDO Gippsland community.
Breaches may lead to suspension from activities. This code ensures a nurturing environment for all.
Limitation of Liability:
Participating in KIDDO Gippsland activities means you accept that some legal rights to claim are limited if there’s an incident, except where there’s clear negligence on our part. We always aim to deliver our services with skill and care, suitable for their intended purpose, and we’ll inform you about your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Your safety is our priority, but it’s also important to understand that all sports have risks. Our commitment to safety doesn’t cover instances of gross negligence, which is a severe lack of care leading to harm.

Attendance and Make-Up Sessions:
At KIDDO Gippsland, we understand that life can be unpredictable, especially with little ones. That’s why we offer flexible make-up sessions for children with a full term booking for any class you miss. Here’s how it works:
- Eligibility: Each child is entitled to two make-up sessions per term.
- Notification: Please inform us via phone or email at least 1 hour before your session’s start time.
- Validity: Make-up sessions can be carried over to the next term or used within the current term, depending on your booking option.
- No Changes: Once a make-up session is scheduled, it cannot be altered. Missed make-up sessions cannot be reclaimed.
- Medical Suspension: For absences of 2 or more consecutive sessions due to illness, please contact us in advance to confirm suitable arrangements for your circumstance.
